• Congratulations to Dr. Davorn Sisavath, who has been selected as a Provost's Faculty Fellow. The Provost’s Faculty Fellows program is a new initiative designed to support and guide recently tenured associate professors in their advancement to the rank of full professor.

• Congratulations to Susan Shimazu, along with the Asian American Pacific Islander Faculty & Staff Association, spearheaded the successful grant proposal and awarded $40,000 to establish the AAPIFSA-led AAPI Leadership Program at CSUF, funded by the Chancellor's Office.

• Congratulations of James (Procesco) Paligutan who published "American Dream Deferred: An Oral History of Filipino Servants in the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, 1952-1974" in the Pacific History Review and received several awards: 2022 Robert W. Cherny Award, from the Pacific Coast Branch, American Historical Association (best article in U.S. labor and political history); and 2022 Louis Knott Koontz Award, from the Pacific Coast Branch, American Historical Association (most deserving contribution in the Pacific Historical Review)
