and received several awards: 2022 Robert W. Cherny Award, from the Pacific Coast Branch, American Historical Association (best article in U.S. labor and political history); and 2022 Louis Knott Koontz Award, from the Pacific Coast Branch, American Historical Association (most deserving contribution in the Pacific Historical Review)
